New David Tranchina project
I had a lot of fun writing the liner notes for bassist/composer David Tranchina's new album with his Large-ish Ensemble, "The Ogre". It's a unique, forward-thinking, deeply enjoyable project featuring many young, up-and-coming improvisers out of CalArts and elsewhere.
